About Us
We built Facebook Story Viewer for one job: letting you watch public Facebook stories without logging in and without your name showing up in anyone’s viewer list — while respecting the people who post them.

Who runs this site
Facebookstoryviewer.com is an independent website, owned and written by Ayu Moz. Ayu runs the tool, writes and tests every guide, and answers the emails sent to support@facebookstoryviewer.com. The site is not owned by, or working for, Meta or any social network.
Why it exists
Facebook shows story owners exactly who watched each story. That is useful for them, but it means you can’t look at a public story — a brand’s promotion, a public figure’s update, a news page’s coverage — without leaving your name behind. Logging in with a second account or installing a browser extension that asks for access to everything you browse are worse answers to that problem. We wanted a simple, private alternative for content that is already public, so we built one.
What the tool does
You paste a profile link or username, and Facebook Story Viewer shows every story that profile has currently set to Public. You can watch each one in a full-screen player and, where you have the right to, download photos as JPG or videos as MP4 in the quality they were posted.
When you search, our server — not your browser or your Facebook account — requests the profile’s public story data from Facebook and streams the media to you. Because your own account is never involved, there is nothing that could connect the view to you.
Our principles
- Public stories only. Friends-only, close-friends and custom-audience stories stay private. No legitimate tool can see them, and any site that claims otherwise is misleading you.
- No login, nothing to install. We never ask for your Facebook email, phone number or password, and the tool runs in any modern browser.
- No stored media, no tracking of downloads. Stories are streamed straight through to you; we don’t keep copies or a record of what you download. See our Privacy Policy.
- Respect for creators. Stories belong to the people who post them. Only download or save content you have permission to use, and don’t redistribute it or use it commercially without authorization. Our Copyright Policy explains what that means.
- Owners stay in control. Anyone who owns a profile can ask us to block it from the tool through our Contact Us page, and copyright owners have a clear process to report content.
- Free. No sign-ups, no paywall, and we don’t sell data.
About our guides
Every Facebook story guide on the site is written by Ayu Moz, using real screenshots taken on iPhone, Android and desktop, and updated when Facebook changes how stories work.
