1. The service
Facebook Story Viewer (“we”, “the service”) is a free web tool that displays stories Facebook users have chosen to share publicly, and lets you download them. It works only with public content and only while a story is live.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the service lawfully and respectfully. In particular, you will not:
- Use it to stalk, harass, threaten or monitor a person against their will.
- Republish, sell or commercially exploit other people’s stories without their permission.
- Automate requests, scrape the service, or try to bypass its rate limits or security measures.
- Resell access to the service or present it as your own.
3. Content ownership
Stories belong to the people who post them. We don’t host or claim any rights to story content; it is streamed from Facebook when you request it. Downloads are provided for personal, non-commercial reference. You are responsible for how you use anything you download.
4. Removal requests
Profile owners can ask us to exclude their profile, and rights holders can raise copyright concerns, through our Contact Us page.
5. No affiliation with Meta
The service is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. Facebook may change how stories work at any time, which can affect what the tool is able to show.
6. Availability and warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, free of charge. We don’t guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or able to retrieve a particular story, and we may change or discontinue features at any time.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or for how you use content you access through it.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
